Our Mission
“The mission of Treasures in Heaven Thrift Store is to take gently used quality donations, sell them, and redistribute the proceeds to other nonprofits while sharing Jesus, serving others, and changing lives as the hands and feet of Christ.”

Most of the funds we raise go to build wells like this in Uganda with the nonprofit Planet Changer. Our Ugandan team finds viable springs that are currently pooling in dirty and unclean ponds. We provide the education, materials, and oversight for the local community to build 3-layer stone and sand natural filtration for the clean spring
Most of the funds we raise go to build wells like this in Uganda with the nonprofit Planet Changer. Our Ugandan team finds viable springs that are currently pooling in dirty and unclean ponds. We provide the education, materials, and oversight for the local community to build 3-layer stone and sand natural filtration for the clean spring water to flow through. The water exits the filter through a PVC spout that requires no energy to pump. The cistern is safe and free from poisonous snakes and frogs. Even children are able to safely fetch water quickly and efficiently. Run off water flows to downstream crops and fish ponds. We check on the wells annually and continue to test the water quality providing reassurance and support to the community. Each of these wells serve hundreds of local families and costs roughly $2500 US to build.

After we pay administrative costs and rental fees, we take proceeds to support Snoqualmie valley nonprofits like foodbanks, homeless programs, and Trail Youth teen outreach coffee shop.
It is our hope that through the generosity of the Snoqualmie valley we will be able to lift up others who are serving and loving our neighbors.
Blessings Abound
In 2013 we had our first yard sale and we filled 11 storage units with donations, ending our sale with $25,000 in funds raised. We held another yard sale in 2016, this time filling 16 storage units and raising nearly $40,000! In the summer of 2020, we held our third sale raising $65k in just 4 days. God has blessed these events repeatedly

God has blessed these events repeatedly and we feel called to continue giving support to others and share God's blessings.
Our goal is simple, to bless others who are less fortunate. We feel strongly that God loves all children and no child should suffer from water-borne disease when a simple answer exists.
